The Forum works to involve faith and cultural groups in the civic life of South Gloucestershire, giving them a representative voice. In the last year the Forum has been made a full member of the South Gloucestershire Partnership Against Hate Crime and has been involved on the working group producing the hate crime strategy.  The Forum also has representation on the South Gloucestershire Safer and Stronger Communities Partnership and the Independent Advisory Group bringing together Avon and Somerset Police and community organisations on matters of common concern.
